Broadway/Timberville Earth Day Cleanups

Join Friends of the North Fork and the Towns of Timberville and Broadway in celebrating Earth Day with a series of river cleanups, followed by a post-cleanup picnic at Heritage Park in Broadway. These cleanups join efforts Shenandoah River-wide, as a part of the Shenandoah Riverkeeper’s Trash Free Shenandoah Campaign.

Volunteers must be age 12 and up. Any volunteers under 18 must have signed parental permission.

Schedule

9am – noon: Cleanups: Various Locations

12:30-2:30pm: Celebration Picnic: Heritage Park, Broadway

As we plan for these cleanups, FNFSR is requesting any information you have about areas near the North Fork/Linville Creek in Timberville/Broadway that are in need of attention. While we may not get to them all this time around, your submissions will help us to learn where to plan this and future cleanup efforts.
