2023 BMI Training Part Three: Field Certification

In the final part of the VASOS BMI certification process, participants will practice the VASOS BMI monitoring protocol and demonstrate proper monitoring methods, BMI identification, and filling out of data sheets for final certification. In order to become certified on this date, trainees must have completed parts one and two of the training and have passed the BMI identification exam prior to this date.

To become a certified water quality monitor, please register in advance to attend all three parts: Introduction to Water Quality (Tuesday, February 28, 6-7pm), Introduction to Benthic MacroInvertebrates (Thursday, March 2, 6-7pm), and the Field Certification (Saturday, March 11, 10am-12pm).
