Work alongside other volunteers and park staff to prep the area around the new Play Space at the Hollingsworth entrance for a tree planting. Activities include scalping the ground and flagging in preparation for planting over 100 trees. Please wear weather- appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, and bring a reusable water bottle. Gloves and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves if you prefer.
Plan to bring a lunch and join Friends of Seven Bends State Park afterward for our open meeting, where you can learn all about what is going on at the park and how you can get involved!
