Trash-Free Shenandoah Cleanups

This Earth Day weekend, Friends of the North Fork is organizing cleanups throughout the watershed as a part of the Shenandoah Riverkeeper’s Trash Free Shenandoah project to clean up all the public access points for the Shenandoah River. Join us on Friday, April 22 as we begin at Cattlets Ford and travel south to Deer Rapids, Chapmans Landing, and Meems Bottom boat ramps– join for just one, or all sites, depending on your availability. Saturday, April 23, we will be in Broadway/Timberville from 9am to noon addressing two sites and wrapping up with an Earth Day-themed picnic in Timberville. To finish out the weekend, we will be at Riverton Boat Launch in Front Royal on Sunday from 9am-11am. Click here to visit our events page to register for one of these events!
