USGS to Report on Recent Local Research: Sept. 12 or 14

We are excited to hear the latest updates on fascinating research being done in the North Fork and elsewhere in the Shenandoah watershed. Friends has been working on issues of chemical pollution for many years. You can learn more about those efforts here

USGS Study: Quantifying Wastewater Exposure Risk and Fish Endocrine Disruption in the Shenandoah River Watershed

The United States Geologic Survey invites the public to participate in a USGS seminar about on-going research in the Shenandoah River Watershed investigating wastewater contributions, fish endocrine disruption and water chemistry sampling that was done 2014-2016.  USGS is finalizing research publications and would like to share their findings with interested stakeholders.
