Join us on Zoom to hear from John Crockett, Regional Planner for the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission (NSVRC) about the Northern Shenandoah Regional Water Supply Plan.
John is a graduate of Radford University’s College of Earth Sciences, with a degree in Geography – focused on environmental studies, planning, and GIS. A native to Clarke County, John is very passionate about sustaining the exquisite natural beauty that we call home, here in the Shenandoah Valley.
The NSVRC exists to bring the Valley’s local governments together to pursue common goals, work together on regional issues and find efficiencies through collaboration. As part of the NSVRC’s Natural Resources Program, the agency was responsible for the latest update of the Regional Water Supply Plan. John will be discussing the Region’s Water Supply Plan, offering insights on its history, current water sources and their usage, estimated future water demand, and drought response.
