Join Friends of the North Fork’s Program Coordinator, Mariama Dryak, for a guided hike about Woodstock’s water resources in Seven Bends State Park to the Woodstock Reservoirs built in 1901 and 1910. The guided hike will cover a thoroughly researched background on the recent history of water in Woodstock, VA and a bit about water in the Shenandoah Valley more broadly.
Meet at the Hollingsworth Entrance (2111 South Hollingsworth Road) parking lot. The hike will be four miles out and back. Recommended for experienced hikers, taking the route from Pawpaw Hollow Trail to Reservoir Trail. Bring water and wear sturdy shoes.
